Booking your bridal appointment at Bethany Hannah Bridal is the first step in achieving your perfect bridal look.
Whether you are an excited bride, who can’t wait to start trying on dresses or you’re feeling a little apprehensive about the journey ahead,
we are here to create an enjoyable, friendly experience.
We will create a wedding dress experience personally for you and your special guests who you choose to share your experience with.
Between our team we have over 40 years of experience in bridal and styling. During your appointment we are here to offer any advice and guide you to finding THE ONE.
I N F O R M A T I O N
Each Luxury bridal appointments last for 90 minutes. We ask for you to bring a maximum of three guests to accompany yourself. We do also have Brides who like to come on their own, as they want calmness and clarity in choosing their own dream dress. Please consider only bringing those who are closest to you and can support and champion you in choosing your specific vision for the day.
We suggest (as much as possible) that you come in with an open mind and have fun with the dress shopping experience… you’ll create the best memories this way.
Those of you who are a little body conscious, please can we take this time to reassure you that brides come in all different shapes and sizes and we are here to find the dress for you. We are all real girls; wanting to make every bride feel completely relaxed. We all have our ‘hang ups’ and that is totally normal but we would love for you to forget about these on the day and just enjoy feeling like a Queen.
O U R B R I D A L R O O M S
We have two luxury rooms for our brides; both have areas for your guests to sit, relax & sip a prosecco. They both have a separate bridal dressing room for you to get dressed in with your one-to-one stylist, then a private showing area for your friends & family. Each bride is special to us & we like to keep our brides space private to give you that personal service, therefore we run by appointment only….
R O S E – We recommend the Rose Room for first look Bridal appointments. This luxury room is situated upstairs and has a little more floor space to practice walking (or dancing) in your dress. This room comfortably seats three adult guests.
L U N A – The luxury room is a little bit more cosy and intimate. Please choose this room if you or your guests have mobility issues as it is based on our ground floor with limited level changes. This room is recommended for one-two guests (we can add seating to accommodate three guests where needed).
Please note, each bride gets to look at all the dresses regardless of which room is booked
What should I bring?
We recommend wearing nude underwear but if you forget this, it isn’t a big deal (please don’t worry if your underwear doesn’t match or you couldn’t find a nude set on the day). You can also bring a pair of heels if you wish but we have podiums for you to stand on to get a great idea of the dresses natural fall.
When should I start looking?
Please be aware that our dresses take between four-nine months to arrive, this depends on the dress designer and their approximate make/ shipment times. We advise allowing six-eight weeks before your wedding for alterations with our recommended seamstress. Please bear in mind that if you are choosing your own seamstress, that they may require a little longer for alterations. With these time frames in mind, we recommend starting your dress journey 12-18 months before your wedding day. If you are getting married earlier than this please DO NOT panic, we work closely with our designers and have multiple delivery options available to us; these just come at a little additional cost.
The earlier the better just makes everything run nice and smoothly.
S A T U R D A Y P A Y M E N T
We love to make our appointments special for our brides and we like to book out a full 90 minutes in your own space, with this said, we take a £15 payment to secure your booking should you want a Saturday, as it is our busiest appointment day.
This payment will also come off your order if you find your dream dress with us.
We have made this decision to start charging for a Saturday appointments as we have lots of brides wanting appointments and unfortunately we have previously had brides who don’t turn up without letting us know or rearranging.
A refund will be given if you can let us know 5 days before your appointment, as this will give us time to fill your appointment.
All our appointments include a glass of prosecco, tea or coffee for the bride and her guests to enjoy throughout the appointment!
2nd Looks & Re-Try -
Most of our brides are lucky enough to say 'YES' and find their dream dresses in one visit but if you simply can't decide there & then we can always rebook you back in to try on your favourite dresses again when you are ready to decide. (no charge given for these even on a saturday)
we do recommend bringing back your guests who you want to be involved so they can be there and not miss out or alternatively most brides do come on their own for the 2nd looks to decide for themselves.
